SOURCE: Rear end seal leak

You must be refering to the side seals. common problem. the actual problem with those rear ends is the air breather, which cloggs up and that's when your seals blow out, because the pressure in the rear end has nowhere to go and so your seals get blown out. I just did a set on Monday. Anywho, you will need some specialty tools for this. You will need to remove both rear brake assemblys (rotors, calipers). Than look on the other side of the backing plate, there you will see 4 big nuts that hold the backing plate on the axle tube (rear end). Remove those 4 nuts and that's where specialty tools become usefull. You will need a slide hammer. You need to attach the slide hammer onto the axle right by the studs. Use factory whel nuts to attach. Remove axle out of the housing with few good slides of the slide hammer. Once the axle is out, you need to remove the snapp ring, then cut the colar off and remove colar, then remove the old bearing and thats where the seal is. Big help doing this job is a pneumatic air hammer, which helps you remove the stuff off the axle shaft and the slide hammer to remove the axles out. You will need 2 seals, 2 bearings and 2 collars. You may also need the plates with the studs, which had the big nuts, that you removed in first steps of this repair. Kind of a job for someone that has been working on cars and has the tools to do it. Good luck. Oh ya, change the breather and the fluid in the rear end.

SOURCE: oil leak problem with 1996 toyota camry

I am going to see a mechanic - my trusted mechanic who does not nickel and dime me - to see what this is. I have the same problem and he told me he has never done this job on a Camry and is unsure. Given the miles, he has suggested that maybe it is time to part ways with the car. I am going to ask him if he will put some florescent dye in it and let me drive it for 50-100 mi and then check to see where the leak is and fix it. Let you know what happens. I have to try, the car is solid.

How do I stop water leak

If you're talking about the model shown in your picture, the leak is most likely between the water reservoir and the tank. Bunn uses a soft silicone seal for that connection that gets compressed over time and starts to leak water whenever you make a pot of coffee.

It's planned obsolescence. Bunn won't sell you a new seal. So you have to improvise. But it's simple enough to do.

Remove the top cover and the plastic water reservoir right below it. Don't tamper with the little valve that opens when you close the lid.

Look for the seal. It could be stuck to the bottom of the reservoir, or sitting loosely on top of the metal tank. Make sure to preserve its top-to-bottom orientation (don't put it back in upside down).

Apply a narrow bead of clear silicone into the grooved side of the seal. Press the seal gently onto the reservoir, then apply a thin layer to the smooth side.

Re-install the reservoir and reassemble the unit.

Get maintenance and shaft seal off diplay

hold down the word "gourmet" near the display for 5 seconds and release when the words change. it is a hidden button to get you into the menu. press and release until you get to the "pm" question then press "ice" for yes. keep hitting gourmet until it goes through the menu and the machine restarts. this will appear every 6 months to make sure you check your seals for leaks. if you have product flowing out of the bottom or side vents of the machine, replace the seal between the auger and the drum

Oil coming out of back of machine

it isn't oil, it's old, syrupy slushie mix and dust. the only oil in the machine is inside the hermetically sealed (cannot open) compressor. you have a front seal problem. the shaft seal in the front inside the evaporator (steel tube), and the cup-shaped seal between the auger and the evaporator. slush is getting inside the shaft tube and dripping through the inside rear of the machine. replace the seals, lube with a food-safe lube and refill.

One side of my bunn ultra 2 slushie machine is leaking how do you change a bad seal to stop this problem?

remove the bowls by pushing in black button on the bottom front left of the bowl, pull the bowl up a little, then pull it forward and off. pull the auger off and the seal is opaque, cup shaped, and on the shaft. replace that, lube the edge with food safe lubricant (i.e. superlube), lube the large round bowl seal in the back and put it all back together. you may need a preventive maintenance kit installed as well, but that's a bit more involved

My Bunn coffeemaker is leaking water after it stops brewing and the coffee doesn't seem to get as hot as it once did. It also only gives back 4 cups for a 6 cup brew.

if you unscrew the top there's a rubber seal in there that you might have to replace that causes the leaks. also clean your coffee maker regularly with vinegar.
my husband had to replace the seal in ours 4 times but after owning the same Bunn for 20 yrs it was time for a new one

Clutch problems .I have to pump my clutch for 15 minutes to get it to shift into gear when car is running. What is the problem

this is due to air in the clutch system, or a low fluid level. bleed some new clutch fluid through. It may be caused by a leaking seal, so check for leaks at the clutch master cylnder and slave cylnder. the master cylnder seal sometimes leaks down the firewall inside the car. Replacement cylnders ar an easier option than replacing just the seals
