Delete a file from an Android app. Click your account photo. Click Settings . Under "Device," click Storage management. Click Android storage. Choose the type of file you want todelete: images, videos, or audio. Open the folder with your file, then click the file. Click Delete OK.

(This is only relevant if your Chromebook 11 has a card reader. The HP one does, apparently)

But, the manual says nothing about working with Chrome OS]
