SOURCE: Need to divert T7316E Nortel to mobile phone

I can help, but this is a free forum. Your installer is your best bet, but on a short notice, here's a manual for a CICS. Follow this link and grab it.

Denied in Admin means it's restricted. Remember I noted that there are programming and Class of Service issues. If you can get into Administrative programming, you can follow the Terminals and Sets link to find Redirection. IIRC it has to be allowed per set. Let me know when you get this, as I won't leave the manual online for very long.

SOURCE: Call Forwarding

There is a feature that allows this to be done, however it is a security risk. Calls can be hacked and routed to anywhere in the world charging long distance to you. If you need it dont then it will need to be done by an installer. Passwords (will be needed) and the programming tool (will be very helpful).

SOURCE: Need to adjust date and time on screen.

Just above the Hold button, with the Aastra name display, that is a sliding piece that will uncover your setup menu button. Press that and navigate to time/date settings.

Hope this was helpfull.

SOURCE: Do the Norstar M7208 and Aastra 9120 phones

No, the M7208 is a propriatary set which requires the PBX to function, whereas the aastra phone is a stand alone set which requires a standard telephone line and a power source.

I need to view a user manual. your web site will not provide one

If you are talking about the Aastra 9116, it looks like you can download the user manual at http://www.florenceinc.com/en/new-phone-AASTRA-9116.php (acrobat file)

Do I need a network?

If that model phone has a rj14 jack ( standard phone jack) and when you plug it into a known good wall jack and you can draw dial tone then it will work. If not it requires a KSU to interface with the lines and that's a lot more equipment than you need for 1 or 2 lines. Thank you. Jer
