Hi,
To reset lamp timer in Sony VPL-ES3,
Press following keys on the remote control in following order for less than 5 seconds each,
RESET, <<, >>, ENTER
This will reset lamp timer.

Bulb has gone. And wil cost about £200 to replace, could be time for a new projector

Turn the projector on and leave in standby mode. To do this press the power on button for 10 seconds until the projector comes on.
To unlock the main panel keys, press the MENU button for 10 seconds.

is the lens focused properly.

is the DOT Phase on the input setting correct.

is there condensation on the lens.

what sort of fuzzy do you see. is it all over the whole screen. is it coloured or only one colour.
is the screen resolution matched to the video source
