What is Ford approved fix for carbon buildup on 2106 F150 3.5 Ecoboost?

The torque should be around 12 to 18 ft/lb (16 to 24 Nm) on most engines. The settings for the Focus and the Escape are slightly different so work to about 15 ft/lb (20Nm) for both cars.

That's not how it works. To look up a torque spec, we need the year, make, model, engine. We have no idea what model you're working on.

You fix the problem. It resets itself when the trouble is fixed. You can erase the code with a scan tool, but if the problem isn't fixed it'll light up again. There is no "reset"

Usually it is simply the switch which is common failure, and easy to fix, but window motor is second thing to check, and of course, sometimes it is loose connector

po401 is insufficient air flow from EGR valve. check the vacuum hoses from egr, if ok, remove or test the egr valve itself and try to clean it out. Good-Day! It may just be sticking, from carbon buildup.

That means the accelerator pedal is in fail safe and you will only get 35% throttle accleration you should have other accompaining codes with this 2106 and those should be done first if you have ABS codes that has to be done first,2106 can be causes by a open TAC wiring disconnect, a TPS sensor that has failed (Throttle position sensor), Here is the big concern you will need to check to see if all the module are communicating with each other, you mainly will have to go to the dealer for this concern and only thier scan too can fix it and find the problem

Try removing the Idle Air Control from the top of the Throttle Body and cleaning out the holes underneath. Often they become fouled with oil and carbon buildup. If that doesn't work, You may need to test and/or replace the Idle Air Control valve.
