SOURCE: run a sub woofer to a peavey board

I would recommend using a separate active crossover such as the Peavey 23XO and a separate amp for your subs.

Just a note regarding connecting: USE BALANCED lines everywhere you can. Use either XLR if available or TRS type cables. This will reduce noise pickup.

Another hint: For SAFETY of your equipment run ANY interconnected devices from the SAME power source. DO NOT say power the amps from one place and your other equipment from a different outlet. Afford a power distribution system that feeds from a single receptacle or nearby receptacles near a common electrical panel. This will ALSO help avoid noise as well as the hazards to your equipment from ground loops.

SOURCE: i need a solution to repair peavey pv 2000 power amplifier.

Your best bet is to request a service manual from Peavey itself. These are usually available for around $20 or so. Call Peavey and ask for the service parts department and make your request there. They are very helpful and should be able to assist you.

SOURCE: i have Peavey Pv 2600

One side of the amp has failed and repair is NOT DIY. Take it in for servicing. This amp has many components in the power amp and repair is complicated. A failure can lead to 20 components being damaged. Failure to replace all damaged ones can result in immediate failure destroying the replaced ones.

My Peavey PV-118 18" subwoofer

Peavey uses a protection network and sometimes it gets blown when too much power is sent to the speaker. The speaker may be blown however. Peak power for this is 800 Watts and 400 Program... That is NOT RMS power. Make sure your amp is no bigger than 300 Watts RMS driving this. If you are REAL lucky, maybe a lead has fallen off the speaker... Open the unit inspect and test the components.

Connect Qsc pair kw122 powered speakers and kw 181 powered sub to peavy pv14 mixer?

Two things... Use BALANCED LINES, either XLR or TRS... AND power the mixer from the same receptacle or power conditioner as the speakers and the sub.

Can i connect the pv 112 to the pv 118 subwoofer since the powered mixer i bought it only has 2 main outputs? The powered mixer I bought is the PV XR 8600D powered mixer...

Generally speaking you should only send low frequencies to subs. The highs, while lower in power than the lows, will over time harm the voice coils. The ideal way to do this is to use an external crossover netween the main output and the amp input with the higher range going to a general set of speakers. Send the lows through the second channel of the amp and then to the subs.

In short, while not recommended, yes you can hook them up in parallel.

Can one(1) Peavy PV 2600 amp provide enough power for two(2) Yorkvilles 15" 300W full range and two(2) Yorkvilles 18" 400W subwoofers?

It should be able to do this. You would need to put each type speaker on a seperate side and then use either an elctronic crossover or an EQ set to pass only lows into the side for the subwoofer to block sending highs to the subs.

Power supply problem

Use the series light bulb trick when trying to first power this up. Use a 150 watt bulb in series with the 120 volt power to avoid damage and blown fuses.
