How do I install a new ink jet to my printer 6600/6700

You will receive messages like this if you are using remanufactured or compatible items. If the machine will not let you print, you most likely have a defective cartridge. Try to turn the machine off, restart, and do a print test. With low quality recycled cartridges, they sometimes don't have proper chipping (the microchip that tells your printer what the ink level is) and it can cause this error as well. Most of the time you should still be able to print. If restarting the machine doesn't fix the problem, you should be able to contact your cartridge vendor and have them send you a replacement.
