If just installed, it is under warranty. It has all sorts of limit switches for foot rest, seat swivel and even a weight limit switch. Contact the maker and the installer. Contact details in the links.
This appears to be a Stairlift as opposed to a 'Seat' vehicle issue. Seat is a Spanish car maker, so..... I edited the question for clarity and moved it from 'Seat' to 'Acorn Stairlifts'.
I would say it is possibly three things;
Your weight exceeds the safe working load.
Wear in the rollers on the chair.
Faulty manufacture or installation.
You need professional repair, new rollers and track section.
Did you ever figure out how to replace the wheels on your Harmar stair lift? I think I got the same problem, but can't find where I can buy the replacement wheels? Can you help? [email protected]
There is usually a swivel mechanism and the "squirter hole" is part of the swivel. You should be able to use a pin or needle, and insert the point into the squirter, and re-aim the stream that way.
Im doing the same thing.. Push the headrest full forward, then lift hard to get past last indent in pole.. This worked for the front as well.. i also could not find a hole to push
Sometimes it just takes two really strong people to remove these seats. Especially if it is that old. I`m not saying damage the chair,but i`ve had some that were almost impossible to remove.
You have to use a pin or paper lip to insert in hole in igmition switch to release the lock cylinder. The key has to be in "on" position I think.
Removal
Disconnect battery ground cable (14301) .
Turn lock cylinder key to RUN position.
Place a 3.17mm (1/8-inch) diameter wire pin or small drift punch in hole in upper steering column shroud (3530) under ignition switch . Press retaining pin while pulling out on ignition switch to remove it from lock cylinder housing (22074) .
Installation
Install ignition switch by turning it to RUN position and pressing retaining pin. Insert ignition switch into lock cylinder housing . Ensure ignition switch is fully seated and aligned in interlocking washer before turning key to OFF position. This will permit cylinder retaining pin to extend into lock cylinder housing hole.
Rotate ignition switch, using lock cylinder key, to ensure correct mechanical operation in all positions.
