SOURCE: Hi my Danby DDR4588EE Dehumidifier's

Hi! I'm assuming that the unit is plugged in and the outlet the unit is plugged into is working (if not, is there a tripped circuit breaker, in your home's circuit breaker panel?). Also, that you have turned ON The Master ON/OFF Switch and the Water Collection Bucket is installed properly and the Float Valve inside the bucket is in the Down position

If you answered NO to any of the above, turn the the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit, before checking those things first. Because, 9 times out of 10, one of thee above is the culprit.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

How to set the controls

Since your Danby, discontinued model has several features that require a picture to understand how to set the controls, as well as how to use the remote control. I have provided a link to your Owner's Manual (in case you have misplaced yours) that you can download and print, for future reference.

The one thing I would suggest, that you keep in mind is that the lower the percentage of humidity extraction you set it on, the more humidity it will absorb. Which is what you want in the summer. Do Not press and hold the arrow down button. Press it down in increments, until you reach the level you desire.

Hope this helps you.

I have a DANBY PREMIERE R410A dehumidifier. I have misplaced the manual. I want to have the unit run for a fixed period of time (not all the time). HELP!!!

On the control panel the 3rd button from the left is the timer button. If you press this button when the unit is running the number display on the left will start blinking- use the up/down arrows to set the time that you want the unit to run.
If you press the timer button when the unit is off it will run on and off for the designated time you set- eg if you set 1 then every 1 hour the machine will switch on and run for 1 hour.
(The left # will just blink once you have the time you want just leave it and eventually the normal humidity setting reading will show)
