Just gently pull the winder knob fully outwards and you should feel one or more clicks. Each of these clicks is associated with a different function. So, select one of these click positions and turn the winder clockwise and see what happens. Then turn it anticlockwise and see what it does. Then repeat for each of the click positions.
sometimes during time set, the hands are set to change date at day time.
check it your date turns during 12 noon, if yes move the hands clockwise until you set your time and date on sync.
say you want to set your watch date:10th and time:10:15am
adjust your date at 9th
then move your hands clockwise until the date turns to 10th at the 12 thats the 12 midnight.
then continue moving your hands clockwise until you reach 10:15am
mcdevito75 here, Press the mode button, you may have to hold it down a couple of seconds, once you see the display flashing press set for each function, after each function is set press mode to move to the next function, hour, minute, day etc. Once all functions are set press mode for steady display. NOTE, the mode button could be a small dimple not far from the winder crown, use a tooth pick to presss this dimple in.
I was unable to find any instructions on the Luminox web site but I suggest you try the following:
Screw the winder anticlockwise ( to release it) and the pull the winder out. I would expect to find two "out" positions, one for the time and one for the date setting.
After setting the watch push the winder home and screw it back in.
I have a Fossil Speedway watch (FS2895). The second hand was on the 2, and I wanted it on the 12. Like the above suggestion says, pull out the winder twice as if you are going to reset the time. However, leave the winder alone after that and, instead, press and hold the chronograph start/stop button (above the winder) until the second hand reaches the desired position. If you want to move the hand a small bit at a time, just press and release that same button until the hand reaches the desired position.
