The threads were on the inside of the spout. On the glacier bay 209 442 the threads are on the outside of the spout and are larger. I can't find an attachment that allows me to put on my hose attachment. Where might I find something that will work. It would need to be a 1" female thread reducing to a 15/16" female thread that my male hose attachment could screw into.

1. Try look for replacement at hardware stores selling

2. Have it fabricated in a machine shop. (Expensive but
if you don't have any other alternative, you may
proceed.)
3. Buy another unit, buy quality product only.

Check the weight and see if it has screws in it to move in on the hose line the distance it lacks retracting.
Most of them can be adjusted to proper retracting mode. It may have a couple of screws in it.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
If your local 'hardware' shop cannot supply try this-
Spares Suppliers
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer spares' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can order. Alternately you could try telephone directories for spares suppliers but I would think the former would be more successful.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi rysenga, the problem is an omission of directions. The section 9 directions are the worst offender and left me never again to purchase a Kohler product. First, this connection for the pull out hose to the outlet fitting should have been a screw on connection. Should have been. Ok it was not, I'll get over it. But the directions never mention having to install the white plastic bushing. Not at all. Nor does it mention that the bushing should be put on the outlet first and then push the hose connection in. This omission is a huge one, but should help anyone else reading this complete the install. Find the oval lip white bushing and install this first on the body, and then just push the connector in. Done.
