Cannon Pixma MG 3150 printer have orange triangle with arrow flashing and it not do the job, I mean not printing and not scanning.How to fix ,please?

Unplug the power cord for 10 seconds

SOURCE: Orange light is flashing and printer is not printing. It is not the crescent , not the triangle, but the one abve the triangle and below the colored catridge rotation button.

Imaging drum is empty or missing (Error 40204) Light pattern Description The imaging drum is empty or missing. The imaging drum light is blinking, and then printer stops printing. An error 40204 is written to the event log. The printer cannot detect the imaging drum correctly. Action

1. Reinsert or replace the imaging drum.
2. If the imaging drum light is still blinking but the Attention light is not on, turn the printer off, and then back on.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 with a new imaging drum.
4. If the problem continues, contact HP Customer Care at http://www.hp.com/support/clj2550 or see the flyer that came in the printer box for other contact information.

Replace or refill the VO51 in cartridge, it's out of ink.

Hi You can Try 2 things.
Have a go
There is some foreign object blocking your cartridges carriage that disables it from moving. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there


Next try.

It may be a piece of paper or a scotch tape or a staple wire.
Solution 1:
Clean the timing strip.

Solution 2:
The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .

Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.
