My Kenmore Elite HE3t washing machine does not respond to any pushed buttons. The circuit is not tripped. The door is closed and not obstructed. I left it unplugged overnight. No LED indicators light.

Sometimes I just have to unplug the machine, wait a few seconds and plug it back in and it works. I guess it resets itself or something.

The part number is 8182119 and can be viewed at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your model number and look for item number 5 under the "Door and Latch Parts" heading. In addition, you may not need them, but just in case, you may consider the inner and outer bellow clamps that hold the door seal in place. This are items 6 and 14 under the same heading. To keep the new bellow from mildewing, it is recommended by the manufacturer that you leave the washer door open while not in use and to periodically clean the bellow. Pull back the rubber folds in the door and make sure you do not have anything stuck that will cause odors and mildew. Small garments such as socks and underwear can commonly get stuck in this area of the door. Also, if you do not routinely use hot water, it is recommended that you run a "clean" cycle with a small amount of bleach about once a month to kill any bacteria.

access the consol area and ohm out the fuse.

We experienced the same thing. I was able to restart and locate the noise to the water pump. After disassembling the water pump found the impeller shaft sliding out. For some reason this shaft will not stay in place. Had to order a complete pump assembly as the electric motor is not available.
