SOURCE: whirlpool dishwasher Model ADP8966, fault code 2?

Hi.

F2 means Touch Panel Failure - Replace the Touch Panel.
Try first tripping the circuit breaker and see if this can clear the error.
Parts must be tested before replacement.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Aqua Steam dishwasher, coming

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

You have actually posted your Dishwasher problem onto the (garment) Washing machine forum!

However I have checked my Whirlpool list for dishwashers and for some models 'F4' stands for 'drainage' (as you have checked) but for others it mentions (quote) 'no heat, relay, NTC (thermostat), connections, underfilling are all possible'(unquote).

When there is an NTC problem with washing machines we often suggest pouring the contents of a couple of boiling kettles into the washer as it sometimes kicks the NTC into life! Might be worth doing that with your dishwasher before calling for service ;-0)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

No water entering machine - mains supply OK

On a Whirlpool ADP4731 dishwasher, try this...
Double check that the under-sink valve is open, providing hot water to the dishwasher.
If it is, the water inlet valve should be checked for proper operation.
The F4 error code means "drainage fault" which should be checked after the water inlet problem has been resolved.
Good Luck!

Whirlpool dishwasher

We had same problem with our ADP 5966. An engineer over the phone said he thought it was related to machine being unable to drain. I checked the drainage pipe connection to u-bend under sink, and sure enough, there was a major blockage. Cleared that and hey presto, problem solved.
