I tried to auto scan my sylvania LC195SLX tv but since I dont have a remote to finish programming, my tv is stuck with no channels at all now. What do I do?

Your TV is in Showroom Mode - to change:

Menu>Picture>Mode>Power up>Home

Then go back and autosearch channels.

The set needs to be switched from antenna to cable in the setup menu. It is capable of either antenna reception or cable reception. Ch 2-14 are the same frequency for antenna and cable but above 14 they are different. That is why the picture is stoping at 14. After you switch it to cable auto program again. SOURCE: Lost remote for vr-2218. Trying to do auto channel scan--says to hit ENTER, but without remote, can't do ENTER. I have FIOS, but Verizon remote won't program TV. Any idea what code may be?

Codes listed in my manual for White Westinghouse are 0169 or 0003 or 0014 or 0043. Are yousure though there isn't a flip down panel somewhere which gives you the option to access "enter"
