Why doesn't Fitbit record while walking on the beach

Are you saying that it records wherever else you walk, but not on a beach?

If so, it is probably due to the way the Fitbit works: The Fitbit reacts to the shocks of the jogging motion when your foot hits the road. On a beach, this is cushioned by soft sand and the shocks are not so strong.

I've walked on a beach with mine, and it worked - you need to know if other wearers suffer the same way. Consider also your weight and speed - if you are small/slim, the shocks may not be great enough whilst on a beach.

My fitbit hr has the wrong time. How do I reset the time?

If it is the wrong time zone or exactly one hour off, check your Fitbit account address to make sure it is correct. Also, see if there is a check box somewhere about whether where you live observes Daylight Saving Time.

How do restart my tracker

When does my tracker reset and what happens to the previous day data

Your tracker resets your data to zero each night at midnight. For most trackers, your minute-to-minute data will be stored in your tracker for up to seven days without syncing. If you have a Fitbit Altaâ„¢ your minute-to-minute data is stored for up to five days. A daily summary of your activity is stored for up to 30 days.
Keep in mind that your calorie burn estimate will begin each night at midnight, so if you're up late and moving around, your tracker will adjust your calorie burn accordingly. Even if you are asleep at midnight, you will still see that you've burned some calories upon waking up in the morning. This is because you still burn calories even if you are sedentary or sleeping. Fitbit calculates your calorie burn based on information about your age, gender, height and weight.
