I DOWNLOADED A MOVIE FROM LIMEWIRE .I PUT MY BLANK DVD DISC IN .MY ROXIO CAME UP AND SAID BURN DVD.I DRAGGED IT FROM LIMEWIRE TO ROXIO,BURNED IT,BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN MY DVD PLAYER IT SAID ERROR AND WOULD NOT PLAY.WHAT IS WRONG?
Sounds like it may have burned the movie file as a data DVD.
In other words, the file gets burned to the DVD just like a Word doc or spreadsheet would, rather than encoded as a movie.
You need to check what format you downloaded it in - it may need conversion before burning as a movie DVD.
You can run a quick web search for *** (your current file format - mpg, divx, etc.) to DVD and find a free utility for conversion.
Then your burning software should be able to burn it as a movie DVD, ready for your player.
