Blinking Green Timer Light

I am experiencing the infamous Blinking Green Timer Light. I also had to replace the power strip inside of the TV. The power strip went out on us after using the TV moderately for three years. Now, I have been dealing with the blinking Green Timer Light for about one year. It does solve itself but it appears to be my withcraft. I reset the TV reset button constantly and magicly the Green Timer Light eventually resets too and I can then operate the TV by pushing the power button. I have done this on three occasions and it takes over 200 resets for my luck to change. Good Luck. My 52" Mitsubishi has been a horrible TV to own. I purchased it in January 2005 at Frys Electronics. It is almost five years old and I have experience two major problems: Green Blinking Light and the inside Power Strip replacement.

I suspect the lamp area is VERY dirty as is the cabinet's filters and fans. This causes great stress on your tv and lamp. Take the time to clean all of them fully. Is the unit in a dirty area? or in a high temp area? DLP's dont like high temp or contaminated areas as they are NOT air sealed units.

Toshiba regza tv went black while watching cable tv. Unable to view via antenna or fire tv. Power light blinks three times and then nothing for a few seconds Unplugged power strip for no results.

The LED on the left blinking green 3 times is power-up, the LED on the right blinking green 3 times is what Toshiba calls a "BUS Error" which basically means a hardware fault.

Blinking green light on Mitsubishi will not turn off

The capacitors on the DM board need replacement, thats a common problem it will work fine but if power is loss even for a minute the capacitor drain, then they cant recharge since they need replacement so the set will just keep blinking the timer light. Installing the V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com will usually repair that. The kit contains the Replacement caps and the CD with detailed instructions.

Blinking green timer light on front nearpower button keeps blinking, tv will not turn on, unplugged for 24 hours and tried again, also hit system reset and still nothing.

Thats a common problem when the caps on the DM need replacement. They will function fine untill power is interupted then the set will not complete the boot sequence when power is reapplied and the led will just continue to blink. Hers a link to the kit that will usually repair that issue the kit comes with instructions.

There is a tiny reset button to the left of the timer light. Press with a pin or something small, wait 60 seconds. Viola!

Mitsubishi wd 52725 blinking green light

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I POWERED IT BACK ON BY UNPLUGGING AND THEN HITTING THE RESET BUTTON. AFTER ONE MINUTE OR SO THE LIGHT WENT OFF AND I WAS ABLE TO POWER ON.

I STARTED THINKING WHAT COULD HAVE TRIGGERED THIS AND IT STARTED AFTER WE HAD A SHORT POWER OUTAGE.

I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU BUT I AM ON MY SECOND DAY OF NO BLINKING LIGHT: I WENT TO THE MITSU TV MENU AND RESET MY CLOCK... I PUT IT ON MANUAL SETTING AND RESET TO PROPER TIME AND I HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM. IT'S WORTH A TRY. I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED..
