My mitsubishi vs-6055 rear projection tv wont come on you can hear it click and tha green light comes on then it clicks again no pictuer at all . i did find yhe red wire that comes off the flyback was bad so it was repaired but still the same please help.

Every rear projection tv has a projection bulb at the back yours is blown it will cost about $300-400 new zealand dollar to get a new one just buy a new tv preferably high definition lcd-plasma.

It seems that your unit has some sort of Thernmal problem or a problem that is shutting down the Power Supply section to the Video side of things.
You need to take the unit to a reputable service centre/man and ask for a firm "Quote" for the work to be done.
The power supply will need to be changed. The capacitors inside the power supply are not sending the correct amount of power to tv and will need to be changed.
Your standby power supplies are most likely at fault you should check the low voltage regulators and see if they are functioning they may be defective.
Check the horizontal output and regulator transistors. If you ould like the service manual let me know I can post a link where you can purchase it and have it emailedto you along with free help to elp you diagnose and repair your set.
