SOURCE: how do i use my 3g network on my irulu 10.1 tablet

  • Go to your mobile provider, I.E. Verizon, att, sprint and make sure you are paying for the 3G access.
  • I believe they also provide you with a sim card, this identifies your tablet to your paid account
  • Then go into settings and mobile networks and enable 3G

SOURCE: I have an iPad mini cellular. What should my settings be to use wifi when not in a wifi area

When you're on cellular, the wifi can be turned off, or left on. It's not a big battery drain and if you enter a wifi area, it'll switch to wifi saving your data plan. I've always just left mine on, but I turned off the prompts for new wifi networks.

How do I get the internet on my tablet?

Hello, Kim -

You (or your household) either need to subscribe to an Internet Service Provider and have a WiFi modem for home service or you need to go to a place where free WiFi is offered.

Without knowing the make and model of your tablet, it is a challenge to provide precise instruction on what to do from there.

The information here may prove instructive:

Best wishes.

How can i connect my tablet to wifi without a house that dos not have Internet access in county wexford ireland.

Are you trying to just connect to wifi to access a local network or are you trying to access the internet? If you just want to connect to a local network, maybe to access other devices on the network, you would need a router broadcasting the network that all the devices connect to. If you are only trying to get access to the internet, consider purchasing a hot spot device. It will provide cellular type service and will broadcast a wifi signal that you can connect your tablet or other devices to for internet access. Hot spots will cost you a monthly fee for the service and you will have to purchase the device itself. Another possibility is to use your cell phone as a hot spot and tether the tablet to it. Just remember whatever data you use on your tablet will be charged to your data plan on your cell phone. On my nexus 5x phone, it's fairly easy to turn on (settings, under wireless and networks select more, select tethering and portable hotspot, turn on portable wifi hotspot, set a password if you want to). Once turned on, the phone will broadcast a signal that you can connect other devices to for internet access. Some cellular providers don't allow tethering. If that is the case with yours there are some apps that will still allow you to set up tethering such as AndroidTethering or Easy Tether. In the past, I've had some trouble connecting wirelessly using the apps and found that using USB tether options worked better for me.

I want to be of use my Ellipsis tablet to download apps over Google play without using Wi-Fi but using my data instead how do I do that

Tablets do not normally have cellular data access. There are two common ways to obtain it. One is to obtain a compatible "aircard" from your cellular carrier, which will allow the tablet to access the call towers on your data allowance. The second way, and the most common, is to have a cell phone that can act as a wifi "hotspot". You set the cell phone to use data rather than wifi, but the tablet links to the cell phone via the wifi hotspot and uses the cell phone as the data link to the carrier. The tablet therefore doesn't know the difference between regular wifi and the cell phone hotspot.

Keeps saying I am not connected to internet?

In the Settings app,
  • make sure the Airplane Mode is OFF;
  • check to make sure the WiFi indicates a currently available network name,
    • or choose an available network by touching WiFi and touching an available network from "CHOOSE A NETWORK"
      • (you must have a user name and password for one or more of those networks that have a lock icon);
  • Check to make sure that Cellular-->Cellular Data is ON if you have no available WiFi.

How do I change my device

You seem to be using wifi at home. Free wifi away from home is another option; but you won't get it everywhere.
Other option is to activate your cellular account. Go to "Settings" and click on "cellular data".
Turn the "cellular data" to ON and View your account.
If new, you will need to create an account which will cost your monthly. It can be turned on/off as you wish.

It says that I have internet but cant get on the internet

Do you try to connect to the Internet when at home or away from home ? At home, you need to have a wireless (WiFi) network to connect your tablet to and then access the Internet from your tablet. Away from home you need to find an OPEN WiFi network (usually in public places such as coffee shops, bookstores, etc) to connect to. Or you can get an USB mobile/cellular modem from your cellular provider to attach to the USB port on your tablet and access the Internet at home and/or away from home (this option will cost you money). You also need to install on your tablet apps that will access the Internet (browsers, Pandora, Youtube, etc.).

How do I get on the go WIFI on my new samsung Galaxy 2 Tab 10.1?

Your tablet needs to support LTE. This is a specific model of the Galaxy 2 you would buy from a cellular carrier like Verizon. If you bought a non-LTE tablet you will only be able to gt wireless where ever there is a wireless network, such as a home network or free wireless at a coffee shop etc. Look up the specific model on the back via google to see if yours supports LTE, of course you would need to sign up for a plan to use the LTE.
