Do belts set off metal detectors?

Belts aren't permitted through airport security because their metal clasps set off the metal detector. However, even if you are wearing a belt without a metal clasp, an agent might request that you remove it anyway. It's standard procedure. https://detectorly.com/best-under-water-metal-detector

How deep do most metal detectors go?

If you are looking for gold or other precious metals that are buried deeper than one meter, you need a 2-box metal detector. Unlike traditional coin detectors, which are made to find smaller individual items, a ground two-box metal detector can penetrate the earth using special search coils that transmit signals. https://detectorly.com/key-things-consider-purchasing-metal-detector-beach

Can fisher f5 use in water

Yes, you can submerge the F5 coil and shaft, but not the control housing. The F2 cannot.

Be careful not to slip and fall or drop the F5. As a precaution use a sling/strap that goes over your shoulder and/or clips on you, so if dropped the control housing will stay above the water.

Happy hunting!

How does the Draper stud detector work

It produces a tuned magnetic field of it's own, and when a live wire or a nail enter that field it changes the loading in the detector's circuitry throwing it off tune, and depending how it is thrown off determines ifit is a nail, a wire or a live wire.

It is the same basic principle of a metal detector you would use onthe beach to find metal things.
