I hard reset my Alcatel fierce 4 and when I use the keyboard it doesn't type what I press and some don't work. What do I do

Does this happen with almost every key, or only certain keys? And if you press a key very quickly, does it still register it as 4 presses?

Also, please confirm the operating system on the laptop, such as XP or Vista.
