Fellows DM-3 paper not feeding

Probably blunt cutters.
Time for a new one.

There is a sensor in the middle of feed opening and it will be stuck in your case. Try removing blockage with tweezers. Failing that soak it up with something like WD-40 soak it excessively and leave it for a while. It will loosen and soften stuck paper then remove what you can with tweezers and power on the unit Good luck

I have had the electric eye come out. they kind of lock in there. I have had a couple push back. I had to take glue the electric eyes into the slot. like I said I have had this happen on two fellows shredders.

sounds as if you will need to have the auto feed sensor replaced. if they fail it will just run, thinking it sees paper. your machine is under warranty for three years from the date of purchase. call fellowes and see if they have repair depot in your area. 1-800-955-0959

Just clean the pick up rollers with water + a dash of meths and a drop of detergent, de-fluff the paper separation shoe and rollers on the paper trays. Reset the PF Kit 1 counter (PF = paper feed) and carry on.

First, UNPLUG IT!
2 - Then remove the top. shredding part and flip it over.
3 - Carefully, with your fingers, not a pliers, remove all the paper bits and pieces from the underside of the shredder.
4 - Turn it back to right side up, and place it on the basket as it should be positioned, then plug it in and turn it on in REVERSE first.
5 - Once it starts, let it run until it stops; it should only be a couple of seconds.
6 - Turn the direction back to normal, and see if it will run that way.

if ther are no red warning lights lit, then you will have to replace the auto feed senors or the main power switch.

So where do I buy a Fellows DMS8c paper shedder blade? I hate to have to buy a new shredder when this one was a good one, just needs a new blade. Please advise.
