SOURCE: Air is coming out of the nozzle but the paint is not coming out.

There are different filter screen sizes for different thickness of paint. Even with proper screen size one might need to thin paint. I hope this information is helpful. Please give a rating if this was helpful. Good Luck and have a Great Weekend.

Does a Wagner Paint Crew sprayer take lubricant?

The Wagner Paint Crew airless sprayer does not require oil for its operation like full professional sprayers. The piston is off-set from the pump chamber with the inlet and outlet valves opposite each other, however you need to protect the parts from corrosion between use and Wagner recommend running some light oil through it after cleaning. If you will be using it in a day or so for water based paint, you could run a 10% solution of their EasyGlide through it.

Paint gun not shooting correctly

Seeing how you have really stated what the problem is (spitting, clogged, won't shut off, fan pattern wont adjust Etc) and there could be several different things wrong- lets go over some basic spraying A B C'S- always strain the paint through a strainer bag or cone this will remove any debri that might clog the tip, *THINNING when you spray or atomize paint it should always be thinned it will actually cover much better if you thin it with the appropriate solvent water for latex thinner for oil base you want to stay in the 15% range alittle bit more on hot days. The shape of the spray that comes out of the tip is called "fan pattern" or "tip fan" "fan size" you can adjust the fan pattern from 9:00 - 3::00 or sideways to straight up and down or to a small circle this is done by moving the "tip housing retainer" keep a piece of cardboard to practice and see. IMPORTANT:When you have finished spraying you need to clean the entire gun by running the right solvent through the gun untill nothing but clean solvent is coming out dissemble the gun remove and clean needle and needle housing this is not very complicated and is paramount to maintaining any spray equipment for sure the gun....

My 640 titan run but will not prime it does not spray product

It is hard to follow your question....however; if the sprayer turns on and the paint fails to enter the nozzle, you may have a blockage. Take the spray nozzle apart and run hot water over it to clean it out. You may need a small brush or cu-tip to clean the inside of the barrel. Blow though it and see if air passes easily. reassemble and run as you normally do. Be certain the top is attached to the paint reserve tightly and securely. Any air leaks will prevent the sprayer from building up pressure within and thus no spay will be emitted.

I have EP2105i and it does not want to spray though motor on and seems to be suction when prime

Hi, W/D here.

Here's a few things to try:
1. Disassemble the gun and check the filter in the handle. Deposits can plug the gun up. Change the filter if necessary, they're cheap.
2. Disassemble the tip and clean. I use a small brush, not unlike a toothbrush, to clean mine. A toothpick or small dental probe works well for removing harder deposits.
3. On the bottom side of the pump is a primer pump. You push the stem several times to make sure that the check ball on the inside is operating freely. You may need to clean it if it's operation is suspect.
4. When initially starting the sprayer up, set the control knob to prime and pump water into a waste bucket. Turn the knob from prime to paint and try to pump water through the tip of the gun. If the pump shuts off on prssure, but nothing comes out of the tip, roll the lever 180 degrees and try it again. Reversing the tip puts in the cleanout mode, and reverses the flow through the tip, backwashing it. Once clear, return the tip to the normal position.
These few items always get me up and running, hopefully they'll serve you well also.
Best regards, --W/D--Please feel free to rate this solution. Thanks.

Airless sprayer, paint comes out like silly string

In order of ease/cost to fix: First, check your spray tip. Most of them are reversible to help spray out any debris that may be lodged in them. Next, check that all of your filters are clear and let paint flow freely. Depending on your model there are up to three, one filter in the spray gun, usually in the handle, another filter is at the pickup tube and some sprayers also have another filter on the machine where the hose hooks up. Another cause may be because your paint is way too thick or not mixed well. A highly recommended paint additive for airless sprayers is Floetrol, it makes the paint flow extremely well. If none of these fix your problem you may well have a worn packing or diaphragm, again depending on your model, and the machine isn't developing enough pressure to atomize the paint. If you have the means put a pressure guage in line with the hose at the machine and turn it on. You need at least 1200 to 1800 psi for most latex paints, a little higher for enamels and thicker paints.

Paint sprayer won't pump

Ok, go to campbel hausfeld web site and download a manual for your sprayer : http://www.chpower.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/XManuals?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10001
Find your model number and look at parts view. Pay paticular attention to the inlet and outet valves. They must be absolutely clean to function. These pumps must be thoroughly cleaned when finished.

Sprayer tips

Read and FOLLOW EXACTLY the spray material directions for mixing and use. Wear protective clothing including gloves and eye protection when spraying. Do not smoke, eat or drink when spraying; "wash up" afterwards. Spray on a calm day. Otherwise, winds may blow spray material off target. It's often best to spray in the early morning or late afternoon so excessive heat won't quickly evaporate the spray material. Follow the directions for use and maintenance that come with your applicator. Dispose of left over spray material and clean your applicator according to the directions on the spray material and with the applicator. Keep spray materials and applicator away from children and pets. Do not store spray materials in any but the original container in which they were purchased.
