None of the chemicals you describe should be used. The heat or spark from the motor could cause a explosion.
Put some old laundry material in there and run it multiple loads with no heat it will eventually wear it off.

SOURCE: i accidentally spilled nail polish remover on my macbook. it works fine now but i've noticed the fan runs more frequently now. is this normal?

it's possible you got some inside your mac. When it heats up, can you smell the remover? It might be that it dried inside and is being reheated every time you use the mac.

SOURCE: How do I remove super glue from my skin?

Acetone is often found in household nail polish remover, and a small amount on the end of a Q-tip applied directly to the glue should dissolve the bond without damaging the skin. How to Get Super Glue Off Your Skin

Do not use a cotton swab, as this can react very violently with cyanoacrylate
Do not do this on sensitive skin (e.g. lips, eyes, nose) or near an open wound

Tip To Remove Nail Paint Easily !

Have alook at some of the easy and handy ways to remove the nail polish.

1. Dark nail color

Taken aback? Well it is true! If you have a deeper shade of nail paint than the one existing one, you can use it as a paint remover. Apply the darker paint to your already painted nails generously and immediately remove it off using cotton balls. Make sure to be quick in doing it so that the paint does not have sufficient time to get dried.

2. Perfume

Love to wear perfume? Well, here we give you have another reason to buy them. Regular perfume will help you a lot in getting rid of your nail color. All you need to do is dip a cotton ball in a generous quantity of perfume and gently rub the painted nails with this. This requires not much pressure and one can get their nails paint-free instantly.

3. Body Spray

If you happen to find the bottle of your nail remover empty, consider the bottle of your body spray for the same purpose. Place the bottle in such a way that the nozzle remains just a few centimeters away from the nail. Now, spray it on your nails and slowly wipe off your nail color by using cotton ball. Repeat the same process for all other nails.

4. Dry cloth and warm water

Take some warm water and put the fingers in it. Wait for the polish to soften enough (this should take about 20 minutes), and then, take out the fingers from the water. Using a dry cloth, gently rub the nails. The color will disappear.

5. Vinegar and lemon juice mixture

Replace the acetone-filled polish remover with a very easy and simple home remedy which is safe. Take 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar to this. Blend both well together. Then, dip a cotton swab into this mixture and gently rub the painted nails using this. Spending about 10 to 15 seconds on each nail will remove all the traces of the old polish efficiently.

I doubt nail polish remover or acetone is going to touch epoxy. It might just have to be picked off if it is not set too well.

What is matte nail polish?

Matte nail polishes do not shine like creme ones. They are very trendy these days although can be harder to apply to the nails as they don't glide when you paint them onto the nails.
