First, check if the phone is network locked by Straight talk. if the phone is network loked, then you wil have to gert a sim card from Straight talk. if not locked, then you can get a sim card from any other service provider.
Straight Talk does NOT mean unlock! Straight Talk is a pay-as-you go cellular phone service...A company that sells the phones and the service. I highly doubt that the phone would work overseas.
If you want to keep the same phone number you will have to contact straight talk and give them the number, then contact your old provider and tell them you want to transfer the number to straight talk, then it takes a couple of days to transfer but both phones cannot have service at the same time.
i dont think so because straight talk has there own company. thats why walmart is the only one who sells their refill cards. that's like since they use verizon towers you can take a straight talk phone and change it to a verizon service but you cant take a verizon phone and change it to straight talk.
Here are the settings I found over the internet. Take a look at it. But I am not sure the service provider is the same though. You better enter the things you've been told by your service provider
