I think the reason is is because the song is in the wrong format where did you get the song from was it the same place you usually get songs from and did you change the format by accident this could be the only problem that you're having

Testimonial: "I downloaded the music from Amazon. It's all in mp3 format."

SOURCE: SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.

SOURCE: micro sd card not reading songs

Yes, Brother there is one probability that your sd is formatted in fat-32 file system. For that i would like to say phone can only read FAT not FAT-32. Go to my computer, select sd drive properties and format it with FAT file system. Then load the files and you will be able to see it in your phone. If it works don't forget to vote here. SOURCE: Problem with SD card recognition

Try updating the firmware, you can download it from the RCA Website (http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/).
If your computer doesn't recognize the player, you'll have to turn it off, remove the battery and keep "PLAY" pressed for 10 seconds while connecting it to the USB port, then update the firmware.

SOURCE: SD Card not showing in my Tomtom go 720 to play MP3

If you want to play mp3 songs from sd card then create mp3 folder and place all the songs in side that folder. Now when you go to Juke box menu it will scan all the songs and you will be able to play them the way you want..
