COOKTOP DISASSEMBLY???
SOURCE: I have a KitchenAid KESS907SSS
Hi,
Problem solved. Followed the instructions given and successfully changed the cooktop.
It turned out that the front control panel needed removal in order to access the screws behind it. After that it was clear sailing.
Thanks for your help with this.
SOURCE: My daughter wants to replace an old electric
Hello. The good news is that the power is already there for the old cook top. What she will find however is that the old cook top may be hardwired where as the new slide in range will require a receptacle mounted to the wall. This is 220 volt electricity so my recommendation is to have an electrician do this part of the job. That said, if you get back to me I will talk you through any and all parts of this job safely. Typically, depending upon your locale, the cost of having an electrician do this work is in the 100-250 range depending on how many trips are required to get it all done. Regarding the wall oven, once again, you are dealing with 220 volts. Be sure to turn off the circuit breaker, or remove the correct fuse, before doing any work.

remove and take to appliance shop and they will match up for you. Make sure power is off before doing.

I appreciate your post, friend!
Based off what you have described your Electrolux cooktop is changing temperature and is coming on at random times. This could be an issue with your control panel or a wiring harness. I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for a proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you avoid unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
Thank you for your post, friend!
I see that you are having difficulty with your induction range element on your Electrolux range. From the information you have provided it is taking longer for items to heat up on that burner. You may need to have that burner replaced and I would recommend having a professional technician come out to perform any repairs. This is not a simple DIY job it may require a possible disassembly of your range. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt
Hello friend, thanks for your post!
I understand that you would like to clean under the cooktop on your Frigidaire range. Could you provide me with your model number please? You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the storage drawer on the right hand side. With this information I can better assist you. -Matt
