HFBLU-CX1 BLUETOOTH HEADSET

I have this headset and it worked fine with my old LG phone. I've been trying to get it synced up with my new 8125 Cingular phonr/PDA, and I can't get it into discoverable mode. The instructions say to hold down the + volume for 9 seconds till the light flashes red & blue rapidly... but, no matter how long I hold that button down, it won't do it..... can you give me some guidance?

Thanks!!!
Tammy

The HFBLU-CX1 headset should be turned off. Now, press the ON button and hold it down until a red light blinks. The phone is now in pairing mode. The code to key in for the HFBLU-CX1 is 1234

Bluetooth headset will not pair up with my LG DARE Phone, My phone trys to add it, but it cannot find the device to connect

Had the same problem. Paired fine with multiple devices (headset, computer, auto.) Then all of sudden BT will not connect. Cannot re-pair (unable to find device(s)). Had 1st phone replaced. Within about 6 months, the 2nd Dare did the same thing.

My new Cellular headset HFBLU-1K won't work or recharge

the problem seems to be the charging box. if the red light goes off relatively quickly after you place the bluetooth in the box then it is not gaining a charge. you have a warranty with this item that you can claim by following the instructions on the warranty card provided in the package.

I didn't get a manual with the headset....how do I set it up???

I eventually found that you need to:
--hold the large button on the headset down for >5 secs to activate the headset.
--on your cellphone....set up the headset as a "Bluetooth" device
(password is usually 0000)
--then click on the large button on the headset to recieve a call.

The headset works fine....but I cannot fathom how anyone who never had a "Bluetooth" device would ever figure out how to do this.

But then again...I did ......didn't I?

Can not find Blutooth Headset, Model: HFBLU-LT100 , on my Blackberry Pearl Cell phone.

Please make sure the bluetooth is in pairing mode, you know this when the unit is flashing red/blue at the same time. you can achieve this by first turning the unit completely off. once the unit is off then hold down the power button until you see the re/blue flashing light. then have your phone search for a new device again. if this does not work you can always take the battery out of your phone while it is still on (for about 5-10 seconds) so that it can reset. then try the process again.
