When does this error happen
1: boot black screens before the windows login screen.?
2: after boot and login, and disktop shows.?
3: does it only happen running apps. or running IE11.

is this a BIOS password screen , showing system disabled, if yes that is only cured by direct help from HP ,they have a magic back door password
for all old PC by them (HP/compaq)

The way i guessed that is tricky
that code you typed is not in the webosphere.
so is a code unique to your PC !
so is a BIOS password set then forgotten
enter the password 3 times wrong
you get a longer, code, and HP uses that to decode yours. ask HP.

FIRST you go to your ANTI-VIRUS program , go to PROPERTIES , there your gonna see a window and where it says ANTI VIRUS enable or on , just click to disable it , i cant be more helpful cause I dont have the brand of your anti virus software , hope this helps AJ

On a desktop pc u hear continuos beeping it's something to do with da ram so try replacing the ram or reseat the ram for help go to compaq.com

304 error reffers to keyboard error. Verify if your keyborad is properly plugged in, also verify if it's working (pressing Num Lock will turn on the led, pressing again will turn off).
If you plugged in an USB keyboard it won't work, it is necessary to be present an PS/2 keyboard.
