Suggest down load the owners manual online and reference error codes.
Testimonial: "I have my manual. It says to call Sears if error code are between E11 to E77. Sears went Bankrupt last year!"
Some of the local Sears stores closed but not all of them. Try going online.
If not then time to upgrade to one made by a firm still in business.
All of them closed! Sears online says to call Electrolux for service...
Then call Electrolux.

SOURCE: error codes 10 12 16 on kenmore induction cooktop
We purchased a 36" elite model on ebay for our house we are building. I finally installed a year later only to have error codes 39 & 40. I completely dissasembled it and put it back together. No luck. However after much searching I found the service manual for the 36" Icon by Electrolux (same manufacturer as the Elite). The guts look mostly the same. Manual states your codes 10 16 12 are for defective key sensors. I found out that on my cooktop if I held a key for maybe 20 sec or more it would beep once - indicating the key was not defective.

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite Induction Cooktop Error Code 41
I realize this is over a year old. I have the same unit with the same error code. Last night, mine made a popping noise followed by smoke and then displayed the 41 and all E's. I pulled the breaker immediately. I'm sure that at least one controller board is toast.
I called Sears and it is under warranty but for parts only, so I guess I will give them a call and schedule the repairman. This should be fun.
Anyone else experienced this failure??

Hi Sue -- when you switched the breaker, how long did you leave it off before switching it back on? Generally, it's a good idea to leave the breaker off (or unplug the unit) for a full 30 seconds before switching the unit back on. If you did have it off for 30 seconds and the error code came on after that point, then it may possibly be a relay isse. That will more than likely require a visit from an authorized servicer to properly diagnose the cooktop. Hopefully the 30-second test prevails and the issue is resolved. Best of luck!

The white one may just form an earth loop,, I recently had a ceramic plate needing cleaned so we did the whole lot, I think most hobs have 4 wires and they are numbered rather than colour coded..hope this helps
Good Afternoon friend, I appreciate your inquiry!
Typically on an Electrolux induction cooktop the "E4" error code stands for key sensor for timer. Which means you could be experiencing an issue with the right board, center board, or left board. I would perform a reset on your cooktop and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes.
If that does not assist with clearing any false error codes or the error "E4" continues to display I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. Hopefully this helps. -Matt
Thank you for your post, friend!
I located that on Electrolux Cooktop error codes "35" and "75" stand for input voltage too low. It could be an issue with your filter board or an issue within the voltages. I would recommend having a professional come out to your cooktop to properly diagnose to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
