SOURCE: My droid 2 global will

This is probably because your phone is locked by your carrier or it could be because different countries uses different standards. If you know that it should work, contact you carrier (E.g ATT) and see if you can have them unlock your phone for a small fee - which then should make it able for you to use the foreign SIM-cards you like to.
Good luck! And please if you do find this answer helpful give it thumbs up :)

Received a replacement phone today. How do I transfer SIM card from the damaged phone to new one?

So long as the old sim card was not damaged and that the new phone is either on the same network or is sim free it should just work after you have fitted it to the new phone.

Unlock Motorola droid 2 To join new network

Hi, You can unlock a Motorola Droid 2 safer and easier using unlock code. You can get the unlock code for a Motorola Droid 2 from www.wickedunlock.com/motorola-droid-2/rs11wp9/ at affordable cost.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UNLOCKING STEPS FOR MOTOROLA DROID 2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 - Switch ON your Motorola Droid 2 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola Droid 2 is locked to.

WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'

It's because you or somebody already entered too many wrong codes, you just have to leave the Motorola Droid 2 ON with the errors message and after 40 minutes to 2 hours the message "Enter Code Special" will appear again!

I recently got Motorola droid a855 and when i try to insert my sim card i am not sure how to insert it. can you help? thanks

The Motorola Droid does not need a sim card because the phone is on CDMA, which can only be used on the verizon network.

Just don't know where to place my sim card for my HTC ERIS

Hey, I am sorry but the HTC DROID ERIS is a CDMA phone and not a GSM phone which means that it will not work on any GSM network worldwide. GSM networks use SIM cards whereas CDMA networks do not use sim cards. This phone is a CDMA phone means it works without a sim card and will not have a slot for you sim card. a list of specifications for theHTC DROID ERIS is available here

Need to unlock motorola droid to work with my att acc i know it can be done

If this is a phone that is not branded by your service provider (example: it's a verizon phone and your trying to use it with att) you first need to make sure that it is compatible w/ att network. The phone needs to be able to take a sim card. Second, you would need to get an unlock code from the provider that the phone originally came from. Once you have that they will inform you how to unlock the phone and you will be able to use it on the other network. Be aware that since the phone is actually made for the other network that it may not work properly. This is because the phone is designed to work on a different network and will have different settings, therefore it is not guranteed that it will work to it's full capabilities, especially the internet.
