Healthrider Bike H35XR . It works but console light went out. Can one open console and repair/replace part?

There is something wrong with the panel connection to the belt. Get the panel looked at or buy another treadmill. Everything is made to last a short amount of time these days.

More than likely your going to need a console...If you checked all the power from the console down to the resistance motor and that's good then console is bad.

You have to replace the entire console.

go to the menu or use the control from monitor and adjust the brigtness ,etc
Otherwise you must tight the ribbon cable, and clean it for dirty, corrosion.

If you can then before replacing the Motor control board do one thing. Replace the IGBT on the control board. Igbt is the component which drive the motor. It will not cost a lot. The only thing is you should be very careful while working on the motor control board because there you can see two capacitors which is capable of store charge for a long period of time even the treadmill is unplugged. Before doing work on the control board you have to discharge the capacitor. If not it will lead to serious electric shock. You will get many pages on web to know how to discharge an electrolytic capacitor. I have add the picture of the motor control board with the igbt marked. You can find the part number written in its frond side. Replace the IGBT first.

Unfortunately the only way to repair this is to replace the actual console. (pad and console are all one unit) The other issue is that I do not believe the console is even available for this product unless you purchase it from a third party.
iconservice.com is the official parts site for healthrider and the console is not listed as available for this model.
