I have 3rd party toner cartridges installed against the firmware's suggestions, but I performed the correct firmware upgrade otherwise according to the instructions. All the buttons are non-functional, hard power reset reboots the printer and the same lights start flashing. I'm unable to find the printer on my network anymore either wireless. I've tried rebooting the printer and holding down both the power and reset buttons, and just the reset button with no luck. I need a factory reset option here.

Leave the printer on. Open the front and hold down the cancel button until all the lights are flashing in sequence. Close the front while still holding the cancel with the lights flashing and then release the cancel button. This should reset it.
Thanks

There is a soft/warm reset which bypassed the loop without losing your data. press the up key and reinstall your battery. do not let go until the palm screen fully loads. when fully reloaded let go. sounds a little confusing but the palm website has step by step instructions.

Hello you can try
Problem for Canon BubbleJet i560 InkJet
The waste ink is in the inside of your printer you need to get at it to clean out,
It may be all screwed down so you need to open all up or get a shop to do it for you.
It not an easy job but maybe you are handy with a screwdriver, it can be messy job.
But after this, you will have to reset the waist ink counter or it will still not work,
But but but but you can always try this to reset it first and clean it out again some time.
