SOURCE: what is the valve cover torque sequence for a 2000 nissan altima

No spec for torque. Bolts have shoulders. Replace gasket. Tighten the 2 center nuts first and just tighten the rest until they stop. You can tighten one and jump across the valve cover and do the other, but not necessary.

SOURCE: how do you take apart the price pfister 533 50?

On the under side of the handle is a plastic plug its either red and blue or its a logo about 1/4" dia., remove that and there is a set screw that attaches the handle. Loosen that screw just enough to pull the handle off. Then you can disassemble the faucet for repairs. Price Pfisters have a lifetime warranty, if the cartridge is bad you should contact them for a replacement part.

Well, even with the main valve off, the lines are still pressurized and still populated with water.

Do I have to disconnect the water hoses under the sink when I turn the neck counter-clockwise? I am on my 2nd replacement faucet.

You do not have to disconnect the water hoses, but you do have to turn the water valves off before loosening any parts on the faucet.

How to stop sink leak

Check whether the faucet is leaking or the drainage is leaking.
If the faucet is leaking, you need tools to loosen the faucet to check whether the hoses are leaking or not. If the drainage is leaking, you can tighten the slip nut.

I have an american standard single control faucet. I realized water was leaking down the pipes. When i turned of the hot water valve, water stopped leaking. How do i go about fixing this.

Chances are your supply line is leaking. One of three things (easy fixes).
1) There is a "packing nut" on the shut off which holds the handle on - this could be leaking (just tighten with pliers while open).
2) There is a nut directly above the shut off (3/8 inch) which goes directly to the faucet. Simply thighten this nut.
3) There is yet another nut above the last (very near the faucet). This is a 5/8 nut and you will most likely need a "crescent wrench" to tighten this as you cannot get pliers up there. You can purchase a crescent wrench at any hardware store for about 10 bucks. Good luck!
