VM light indicator will not stop blinking

Night before last our electricity went out b4 we got home and we had received a vm. i checked the vm and deleted it but now that electricity is back on and the phones are working the vm indicator light will not stop blinking. we do not have any new vm's so how do i get the blinking to stop?yes, i have vm through my phone service provider. we have unplugged the base from the electrical outlet and took the battery out of the phone but neither have worked.

    it is now fixed, thanks to me. i had my husband call and leave a new voice mail, i checked it and deleted it and it took the blinking away. sorry, im happy it was driving me crazy...

My uniden cordless phone says vm on the screen. What does that mean?
It is voice mail and some time you checked voice mail on your cordless phone but light will keep flashing that you need to check your voice mail. if it does not fixed then You need to also delete the voice mail from any voip device and it should turn off blinking lights and will clear vm message.

NO SOUND - MOTHERBOARD ASUS P5S800-VM
According to specs the sound is " SIS964 " go to device driver and check to see if sound drivers installed if they are not it will have yellow mark on them.
Try downloading M/soft UAA drivers first and install them a lot of on board sound require them
then when installed go to drivers again and update sound one will go on net and download and install them
I have had boards that said one type of sound but used another driver to get working

Good luck. If you follow all of the above instructions and the red light keeps blinking, that's just the way it is. And that's according to the Philips tech support team. Especially if it's in relation to voice mail icon. The phone appears to think you have a voice mail message even if you've checked it and deleted them all or have no voice mail service whatsoever. So you may be stuck with the blinking red light forever.
