How do I connect my acurite weather station to my oc the programme on my pc programme is telling me that the indoor display is not deyected

Remove the batteries from both indoor and outdoor unit. Leave them out for 10 minutes. Replace the outdoor sensor with a new battery (2xAA), and then new batteries in the main unit (3xAA).

I am tempted to tell you to try a system restore to a point where the program was running. This would uninstall programs between then and now but should restore your use of the application.

Here's the manual for the AcuRite Weather Forecaster. If it's not showing the outside temperature, make sure the A-B-C switch is set to match the display unit. We would recommend a hard reset of your Weather Station. Please verify that you are using a good-quality, standard alkaline battery such as Energizer or Rayovac, and then follow the steps below.

1. Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors and remove at least one battery from each.
2. Make sure the A-B-C switch on both units match. Sometimes changing to a different channel can help.
3. Reinstall the battery in the outdoor sensor.
4. Reinstall battery into the display unit.
5. Let the units sit within a couple feet of each other for about 20 minutes to gain a strong connection.

While lithium batteries are recommended for the outdoor sensor it is not recommended they be used in the indoor display unit. Try using a good quality, fresh alkaline batteries and you should find your display turns back on.

Double check the batteries to make sure they are installed correctly. If one of the batteries in the outdoor sending unit is in backwards, it will not send the outdoor data. On the indoor unit, there is typically one battery that is used for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly but that one, you will see the display and the indoor temperature information, but the outdoor information will not be displayed.
