you cannot delete account but u can deactivate it..go to setting then to account and select deactivate

try forgat password and get back to FB wirh gmail. authentication mail. Then check for all security details like secure accessing, logon notifications.etc..

They don't have any tools to do this; and frankly, you just have to do it by hand.
I'm real sorry there's really not help for this. I've been a FB user since they started. Each account is separate, and FB offers no support for handling multiple accounts. Her's a link on deleting, or deactivating. I would suggest deactivating the account, until you're ready to delete it; at least you'll remember which one is the one you want to use. https://www.facebook.com/help/359046244166395

Hi I need to delete my facebook iam going out of the country for 3 months
I tried myself a few years ago to delete my FB account and after trying a lot of ways to cancel it, even contact them to close it - no success!
So, I just ignore it and never used it again. Years after I decided to go back on FB, and there it was - but forgot my password. After a hazzle to got my old password, I opened a new FB account. So, the old one still exists.
I do not know if FB really close any accounts of people asking them, and that makes me wonder what about people that passed away that was on FB? Will their accounts be there forever?

If you use a personal computer, usually a list of username and password will be saved automatically. Go to Menu, select Options, continue to enter the security, go to the Save Password click the Show Passwords. Usually all stored there.
To delete an fb account open My Account continue to Settings, select the security select DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT

How do we log into a different person's fb account on this iPad?
it may be like a phone once you have set up an account to sign into it automatically stores that 1, so u would need to set up another log in account manually & then when u attempt to log in it will ask which 1 u want, if you cant set up more than 1 account, then u have to manually delete yours & then use his.

How do i close facebook account
Hi Anna,

Log into FB and then click on settings from the drop down list on the far right hand side at the top. Click on security and click on deactivate account. Follow the steps to close the account. This will make your account unavailable on FB.

However, please note that FB does not delete the account. It will re-activate as soon as you log in to the account again. It is my understanding that FB will never delete the account only deactivate it (have a good read of their terms of service).

if you want to delete your facebook by click option delete account.

And if you want to recover your fb account then if u have the email id which is connected by that account then by click on forget password

enter connected email id . Then you get an email by which you can recover your password.

And if you forget your email id which u connected then i give u a trick by which take help from your fb friend and see your fb account detail by friends account and you will get phone no. , email id , user name and link your profile . by one of them you can recover your forgotten password by above method to entring email id or user name or phone no. ,

i am no longer a member of FB so i think i remember that only they can delete certain parts of your FB elements. i unsubscribed to FB but still my stuff is on the site. you cannot even delete or remove your account completely. i know it did not answer you directly but i think the answer is NO.

How can i delete my facebook account if it has been stolen
You cannot delete an account on facebook without logging inside the account. The most you can do is create a new account and report abuse on your earlier account stating the reason as stolen account. Publish it in the news feed so that others should also know that this account is stolen and should stop communicating with that account.
