Depends on what kind of refrigerant its works, if is an old unit probably is charged with R12 or R22 newer ones work with R404 ;for R12 presures should be around 20psi on the low side and 160 on the high side ,for R22 about 60 and 250 and for R404 50 and 350 ;you have to look at the condensing unit tag to find out what type of freon its uses ,or look at the expansion valve at the evaporator coil.

Between 45 to 60 on the low side but no higher than 350 on the high side ;make sure the condensing coil is clean and the evaporator too.

I would like to recharge euroman walk in freezer room how do I go about it using r404a.

First you will need the Freon,
then a charging valve to attache to your low side of compressor line
a set of gauges to monitor pressure and a amp meter to see what amps its pulling when charging if charge is low then it has to be a leak can be a micro leak and may work for a while but not fix may need a Freon leak detector to find 90% of units end up with evaporator leaks or in condenser cooling drain pan line rusted out

How to add 134a to magic chef deep freezer

First your freezer does not use R-134a. That is for auto air conditioners only. It uses R-12. You need refrigeration compound gauges, R-12 refrigerant and a two devices that connects to and punctures the lines and gives you a port to connect the hoses from the refrigeration compound gauges. You must have a refrigeration leak if you need to add refrigerant. The leak needs to be repaired or you will lose the refrigerant in a short time again.

First question, why do you need to charge the system? Second is it a remote unit or self contained. Third do you have a set of refrigeration gauges? The best wau is to weigh the proper charge into the machine through the gauges. That varies depending if you are air cooled, water cooled or remote.

How to troubleshoot walk-in freezer & chillers

Good day,
The first step is to check to see if the fan motors in the evaporator cooling assembly are blowing.
The second step requires the use of compound gauge set. You will need to determine what type of refrigerant the unit runs on and what the high and low pressure readings are when the unit is on and running.

This one you have to get access to the refrigeration system to see what operating pressure you have to determine if there is enough freon charge to freeze. you need a tap valve and refrigeration gauges.

My freezer stays at 29 and won't freeze

check out the defrost timer it sound like its in defrost. if that is not whats wrong then you can checkout the refrigerant by looking at the sight glass on the liquid line. It dhould not have any boubbles in it and if there is then your low on charge, n if threr isn't then you whille probebly be better off calling a service company out to repair the unit.

Norlake walk in fridge

Yes if the evaporator drain is blocked or not attached correctly it causes the humidity to remain in the refridgerator. Just opening the door will cause the warm are to enter and cause the symtoms of rain if the water is not taken out the drain properly.Hope this helps JT
