These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

You could ask a tv repair shop to order you one but would be cheaper if you phone manifacturer and get them to send you one out if this helps please give thumbs up thanks

bobnyc, Is set under warranty? How old is it? Did it display a "perfect" picture yesterday, and not today. How is or was the AUDIO. Can you hear anything or nothing? Is the SMPS power supply board a "COMBO" or is the INVERTER supply located elsewhere? To where do the CCF tubes connect to get power? Tell me, do u have a good DMM, 100mhz Ocilloscope, Isolation transformer, and soldering iron/ solder wick???? If have some answer to some these ??? contact me @ louie12fix on fixya or at lmistyrel @aol.com PS: I highly recomend use of digital cam to take pic's before taking stuff apart. Could help when reassembling.
