This is usual. In some refrigerators it is designed that way. It will keep the vegetables etc. in the fridge from drying out. Usually this spout is close to the back wall of the fridge. It is designed such that water drips directly to a small hall on the bottom of the fridge. It is important that you don't push the dishes or food in the fridge too far back. Otherwise water will be on you food. This spout should be far back as I mentioned. If, for some reason the water is dripping not close to the back, the spout may have beent damaged or bent. Check to see whether it is OK.

Water seem to puddle up on food trays .in frezzer the floor has quarter inch off ice but the tray under unit is dry even if i unplug unit melt all ice no water drips into tray

The freezer itself does not create water. So the water MUST be coming from somewhere.
First the tests: Turn the water off at the wall, clean all the water from the fridge trays and freezer. Wait 24 hours to see if there is any accumulation.
If not, then you have a leak in your water delivery system to your ICE maker.

consult the manual for troubleshooting. Or return here for further directions.

good luck and don't forget to vote!!!

I have a side by side fridge/ freezer bought new 5 yrs age and the water/ice dispenser keeps leaking water. I noticed the the lever in the dispenser area seems loose. what would cause this type of problem?

One of two thing. Either the flap is not closing all the way allowing condensation to build up and drip, or you have a seaping water valve allowing water to seep out of the water spout insde the door.
Please rate solution if helpful. Thanks

LEAKING FROM BOTTOM

Is it leaking only when it is filling or all the time? If it is only leaking during fill, it could be an air gap device
  • Air-gap device -The air gap is a small device found on most washers that prevents the wash water from being siphoned into the household water supply. It's located either mid-way along or at the end of the black rubber hose that comes from the water-inlet valve. Often it's made of translucent plastic. If one of the air-gap components deforms or cracks, you may need to replace it.

  • The tube -There's a rubber tube that runs between the water-inlet valve and either the air-gap or the inlet spout. If it cracks or breaks, it can cause a leak.

  • Inlet spout -Most washers have a plastic spout near the top of the main clothes tub that directs the water into the tub. If the spout cracks or breaks free of its mounting, it can cause a leak.
  • If it is leaking all the time it could be the main tub seal. Hope this helped.

Frezzer coil water is dripping on it

I'm not sure about your icemaker, but i think it should be fine. Simply put, fridges or freezers have to get hot to make themselves cold, and they do drip water from time to time, although usually not a substantial amount. If you want to learn more wiki fridges freezers etc. the water should be an issue unless there are some exposed electrical wires located near it.

Jura Impresso E9 not dripping through spouts but into drip tray

This is most likely due to a bad o'ring. The bar you speak of...Does the unit have a small spout pointing upward from the area?...with a groove? Is the o'ring in that groove damaged or missing? When the grounds are compressed in the piston, the brew unit lowers down onto this spout and seals on it. The high pressure water then is injected upward inot the brew unit. When this seal fails the water simply leaks into the tray when there are grounds providing backpressure. When rinsing and no backpressure some of the water may be getting through. Make sure you lube up any seals with a food grade lube. Olive oil will work in a pinch.

Water drips from evaporator fan channel Frigidaire FRT17G4B

It sounds as if this is a top mounted refrigerator. (freezer on top) If this is the case, check to see if you need to defrost the drain. You could also have a problem with the door seals. Remember the air coming out of the vent is freezer temp minus a few degrees. It could be that the moisture is condensing in that area.

    Dripping shower head

If it is dripping from the connection where it goes to the water spout you can unscrew the connection and wrap teflon tape or Pipe Joint Compound on the Threads. Now you can Thread the Shower Head Back on, with No Leak. IF..... It is leaking from the Shower Head Itself There May Be a Problem with the diverter handle/lever. If it has a Pull Type Lever, sometimes you can screw the Lever up or down for the proper water restriction to the Shower Head. However if the Hot and Cold Handle/Lever is OFF, There should not be any Water coming out from anywhere! If water is coming out off the Tub Spout, with the Shower Off, then you will have to replace some washers or Cartridges in the faucet(s) to stop the dripping. You can do this easily....Just Ask) Remember though, that some shower Heads may Drip for a Few Minutes After they are Turned off. There is still water in the Supply neck and needs to escape, either though the tub Spout or Shower Head.......Hope this Solution Helps you with your Drips.....Joe
