1st check for food build up under the filter, just shine a flash light through the holes front left side at the edge of your filter. This area is the water intake for the wash arms.

try pulling off the bottom spray arm under that plastic cowel is the filter system clean it out . take the cowel off and its very easy to clean the filter if that doesnt work then underneath the dishwasher where the water inlet is there is a valve . it has two outlets one going to the dishwaser and one coming from your water supply . check to make sure u have continuity going thru the valve if its not working replace the valve (word of caution turn off the water when replacing valve ) Also before changing the valve pull off both hoses from the valve there is a filter in each inlet make sure they r clear and not plugged

Sounds like the water control solenoid is not opening or you have a hose kinked or the water turned off under the sink--Note, no intentions of insult, Just need to check everything checkable before calling in costly help. Good Luck. Thissolenoid is controlled electricaly throught the timer, so either one could be faulty.

If it does not working right - get rid of it while it is still under warranty.

are you in a hard water area such as florida ? do you have a water softener? if so take a can of frozen concentrate orange juice and put the frozen hunk in the bottom of dishwasher and run for one cycle. the citric acid will dissolve undisolved soap . this works much better. than vinegar which will only remain through the first cycle and then drain out as for the already grey glasses wash them in a solution of equal amounts red wine vinegar and water with just a touch of dish soap using a sponge.

I would suggest calling whirlpool to have a tech come out and look at it. Your appliance is still under warranty if it is under 1 yr old. It will cover parts and labor.
