I would just take it to a instore mobile phone repair man/or lady usually chinese are great at what they do not expensive .

There is really no option except to erase the iPad with iTunes. It is a security feature that is built into the iPad operating system. You can follow this guide, although it says it is for iPhone, it applies to iPad too!

I forgot mine not too long ago and went through the system reset options for forgotten passwords.
My password is the same as my Microsoft Live (Hotmail) account so if you can remember that it should be the same as your XBOX password.

Else just use the forgotten password options to change it.
This is quite easily resolved.

down your old passcode and the new one before you begin.

1. Make sure your system is off (On light is off).

2. Press the [5] key. The OK tone sounds and the display changes

the display shows your user number. In this example, the user

4. Entered a new passcode with the same number of digits as your

old passcode. If the error tone sounds, go back to step 1 and try a

different new passcode.

system leaves the change passcode mode. If the error tone
sounds, start over.

If you actally set a differenr passcode, then you can do a complete system reset from the security screen. If you never set a passcode, then the default passcode is the last 4 digits of your cell phone number.
