I don't have a for sure answer ,but mine has that too. Maybe from condensations when used for long time cooking? I do a lot of 20 to 25 min cooking times.

SOURCE: Kenmore Microwave door adjustment

Depends on the door. It likely can be adjusted they have 2 screws on the door bracket you may have to remove the cover to see them. But it also needs to be checked with a leakage meter to make sure its not leaking.

RadioShack used to make a low cost meter not certified or anything but a good way to see if its leaking.

SOURCE: Rust marks on inside trim

IF YOU USE THE MICRO WAVE ALOT WHEN YOU COOK SOMETHING THE STEAM FROM THE FOOD BUILDS ON THE INSIDE AND CAUSES THIS PROBLEM. THE HINGES ARE OPEN AREAS WHERE THIS STEAM CAN COLLECT. NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT
IT'S JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT HAPPEN

Testimonial: "Thanks!! I feel much better about using the microwave! Don't need to buy a new one!"

SOURCE: I have a Hamilton Beach

maby it's the magnetron, i need more information, a good way to test the magnetron is to put a small HE-NE lamp in a glass filled with water (HE-NE lamps) are found in any radioshack (La source) store, if the lamp glowes orange it meens the magnetron is good, if it is not glowing then the magnetron is dead, (the magnetron is allmost the price of the oven) it could be a fuse but if you have to change the fuse replace it with the same type (normaly ceramic german type) NOT GLASS

Good luck!

SOURCE: I have a Hamilton Beach

Assuming its the same as my Hamilton Beach, you first enter the cooking time, but don't press start yet, instead press power, then a number button 1 - 9 for the power level 1 for 10%, 2 for 20% etc. THEN press start as normal

My Hamilton beach microwave won't heat up but everything else works

Hello, Kiesha -

There can be several reasons why your microwave oven will not heat up. Read the information here:
https://www.partselect.com/Repair/Microwave/No-Heat/

Needless to say, unless you are experienced in fixing microwave ovens or you know someone who is, you will need to find an authorized repair business for Hamilton Beach microwave ovens and take your microwave in for an evaluation for repair. There may be an initial charge for evaluating the microwave for the possibility of repair.

If your microwave oven is still under warranty, see the information from Hamilton Beach here:
https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/warranty

Hamilton beach microwave model number hb-p100n30al-s3 left unplugged all night still won't heat. Buy a new one?

I would say so. if its not heating it can be a magnetron tube or high voltage inverter circuit. For the cost of repair its not worth it.

Silence a hamilton beach microwave. How to

Tips to Silence Hamilton Beach Microwave includes cleaning the interior, placing the microwave on a stable surface, using microwave-safe dishes and containers, repositioning the microwave in an open area with ample ventilation, checking for loose parts, using lower power settings, investing in noise-canceling mats, and checking the exhaust fan. To adjust power settings, start the microwave by pressing the "Start" or "Time Cook" button, ensure the microwave is placed on a level surface, and avoid enclosed spaces. Regular maintenance prevents loose or damaged parts.
