13.6 volts trace tdo power input on mother yet unable to power up please help
Here's a link to the service manual - www.shercoares.org > doc_files > manuals > ica110_sm. This may help. Have you checked both fuses? They should both be about 10A. Use a meter to check them. A visible check may not show the fuses open.
SOURCE: OLDER ICOM RADIO ICBP5 AND A REGENCY U156B
Hi, The Icom radio models start with IC followed by numbers and then letter(s). The BP5 is the model of the battery pack. Pls post back. I'm not familiar with Regency U156B. However, there is a Regency RU156 which is a 16 channel UHF 25watt mobile radio which could either be crystal controlled or PLL diode matrix. Regency was reported sold to the BK Relm Company, which no longer supports older Regency Radio Equipment. There are a few sites on the Internet where you can get hold of a user's manual (some for a fee) like http://www.bearcat1.com/manuals.htm. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how thin gs turned up, the Icom model or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
SOURCE: No Life, does NOT power up, Fuse is OK
There is apparently some component in the stanby circuit that is malfunctioning. There may be a milli amp fuse off the standy transformer secondary. Check - don't confuse with a resistor. It may read 2 ohms or less
SOURCE: Searching for Satellite
The voltage is supplied by the power-supply through the RF/IF interface usually encased in a metal box on its own. Also without knowing the model number of your unit I cant help any further.
SOURCE: icom ic720a ham radio not transmitting, pliz help
upon what frequency are you trying to transmit?
Perhaps the radio is blocked from trying to TX on said frequency.
SOURCE: My icom 706 mk2g powers
Hi
I had a similar problem on my 706 MK1. The problem was corroded connections on the white power connector at the rear, When on tx the voltage drop across this connector was great enough to switch the radio off. try cleaning/re-seating this connector
