The ECB Board is no longer aval, must find a way to fix it. When I turn the double oven on, it goes F3, cant set temperature. The ECB has a 4 prong white connector that fits into 4 prongs. Could that connect solder on the board be cracked or needs replacement? 4 prong white connector reads the Temp Sensor on the ECB. Where else should I check? Temp Sensor was replaced last month. Please advise.
I have CWG3600AAB
Got F3 when oven tried to relight at temp.
Replaced temp sensor and it seems to work now just fine.

I have the same problem. I noticed that the oven gets to the selected temp ok. Then when the pilot attempts to RELIGHT, it gets the error F3. Did you get a solution? After other posts, I will see if the temp sensor is around 1100 ohm as suggested by others. Ken

your problem is the thermostat is bad.the reason it shuts down is that it trips the hi limit.the hi limit is a saftey device that shuts the system down so the oil doesnt get too hot and catch on fire.remove all the oil from the tank and you should see 2 skinny metal bulbs one is the hi limit bulb the other is the t-stat bulb, make sure they are secured to the bracket.if the t-stat bulb isnt you will also have this issue, simply reattach it.let me know.
SOURCE: Maytag oven needs temp calibration
Take your temp knob off and look in the center of the stem and you should find a small set screw. Using a small precision screwdriver, turn the screw until you see the light come on. (You won't have to turn it far.) Turn it a little at a time, maybe a 1/16 of a turn. Leave your thermometer in the oven with the door closed and at or near the temp probe that is in the oven. This way, you are getting a true reading.

Hi
F3 Error indicates a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
