I received some color photos via email...when i tried to print them, they all came out like a water color all running together.

First and foremost, use the most current HP drivers for that model of printer. The two choices you have are printing in color directly via the printer itself. Naturally you can print from the class or inserted USB/Card reader slot. OR you can print from the Computer's devices matched to the printer. To get proper results: Down load the current updated HP drivers for your computer to communicate with the printer. Use the HP software to select either color or b/w. Also make certain the HP Printer FIRMWARE is up-to-date. If all of the software is current, you should only need the HP programs to select your choices and no other apps are necessary.

Try unistalling both Printer and Photo Shop then reinstall them.

probably drivers have become corrupt it has nothing to do with office 2010.
first do a firmware update and then update the drivers that you use.

The magenta has run out (red).
Replace the HP 22 tri-color cartridge.
It probably has yellow and cyan (blue) left in it, and the black is most likely working as well, but if any of the 3 colors in the tricolor cartridge run out, the whole cartridge must be replaced.
For instance, if I printed my vacation photos and there was a lot of water and blue sky in all of them, the cyan might run out long before the cartridge life expectancy.
Also, don't forget that cartridges are rated in pages printed at 5% coverage.
Since a photo is about 25% of a full page, a photo printed at full bleed (edge to edge) will only yield 32 4 X 6 inch photos from a cartridge rated at 160 pages (5X expected coverage = 1/5 the prints)

If problem is same after running a self test from printer, then prob. you have clogged nozzles; remove cartridges and soak (surface) of head into hot water for 20 sec. and test over a tissue. Repeat untill ink is seen on tissue.

If no use, then make sure you have enough ink in the cartridges. Otherwise, refill or replace.

hello, you are using the photo color ink cart, have you tried running a cleaning cycle or test print, the reason why i ask, is that maybe 1 of the colors is not printing, the test pages would prove what color is missing, if black not printing, it would print possible blue, or no black at all. i know you have put in new inks, but since the volume of ink in these cartridges run out according to usage, one color might run out before the others, and since black and yellow are the most used colors, without them your prints will show color faults.

If you have tried a printhead clean then your printhead is faulty, email [email protected] and tell them about it. They will be able to send you a new one.

The HP 22 tri-color and HP 58 photo are meant to be used together for color photo and graphics printing.

firstly check if the ink cartridges are genuine or not.........if they are then its a print head issue.........call kodak tech support.......or you can process the request for print head replacement from www.kodak.com/go/itg where you will have to follow troubleshooting steps and by the end it will ask for your printer details and will send it to kodak and you will receive email response on your email for the replacement print head being shipped to you.........this was just in case you dont want to call kodak tech support......

Don't use nozzles clean function, besides ink consuming it can cause damages that cannot be fixed: black lines on the back side of the page that will be permanent. Instead put two photo paper together (2x260 gr) and push the two papers together into the printer while printing a motive including many colors. Do so a couple of times and the clogg usually disappears. Good luck! jonk
