How to link iPhone and iPad together please

Im not sure what you mean by 'link'. Maybe you mean Sync?

If you are looking to Sync the two devices, you have to upload your data to icloud. Apple gives us all 5GB of free storage. I normally sync my Notes App, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders and a few other. You have to be using the same Apple ID on both devices.
Go to your Settings. Go to iCloud. turn on the apps you want to sync.

How do I synchronize my fit bit to my iPad

From my experience, you must turn on the bluetooth (and possibly location) prior to opening the fitbit program. Once you open the program, hit sync or pull down on the page to start sync. You must keep the fitbit nearby through this process. It takes awhile to grab the sync sometimes.
Hope this helps.
