Tgis may be a silly question, but Are you getting sound? If not then you may be using the wrong port on the device you are attempting to connect to your tv..if there's another port, give it a try.
You did not mention what device you are trying to connect.. but presuming it is a laptop, try leaving everything connected and with the appropriate hdmi channel selected.. perform a reboot of the laptop. This often works due to the laptops graphics adapter getting confused as to what to do when it is suddenly attached to another display.. give that a go. Good luck

Hello
I think that you should have a button on the remote which lets you switch to the auxilliary connection of the TV (it won't switch automatically). Try putting it on AV1 AV2 or AUX or such modes you have to refer to your TV manual to see how to switch exactly to the Video Line in Connection.
This should solve your problem :)
Cheers :)

Do you also have a computer monitor attached to the computer when attempting to use the HDMI?

Try this
1. Turn ON TV
2. Connect PS3 to TV HDMI input
3. select TV HDMI input for PS3
4. turn OFF PS3 if it is ON
5. Press and hold the [I/O]Power button until the PS3 until you get the "HDMI Detected" message.
Also, this TV has a circuit that deactivates the HDMI if the rear cover is removed. It is possible the HDMI may have been turned OFF. This is reset in the service menu of the TV.

if you are running windows xp or linus i may not be able to help altought the problem might be solved in almoust the same way. For windows vista right click on the volume icon in the system tray icons and choose playback devices select HDMI output ( for 5920G is "Realtek HDMI Output" ) then press the "Set Default" button. The other way around is to go in the Control Pannel in the "Hardware and sound" cthegory and select sount than seth the default output to Realtek HDMI Output in the "Control Pannel Home" view, or in Classic view click/doubble click on "Sound" icon ( a speaker ) and do the same. In windows XP there is a similar approach. In linux go to System ->> Administration ->> Soundcard Detection and you should find a setting equivalent to the one in Windows
