I am guessing but it sounds like a gorse impedance mismatch. You should never connect two outputs together unless they are specifically designed for that. Since you are listing to mono why not send each output to the Base Amp the other to the cabinet. That should resolve the problem.
Hallo! First you should check with a tester if there is present the voltage at the exit of your power supply, on the cord that goes to the mixer. If there IS voltage (usually 9...15V) then I'm sorry, your mixer is dead. But, for me, most of times is burning the alimentation. Cheers!
Why don't you try using the main outputs (the 2 XLR connectors). With 2 cables connect these two (left - right) outputs at your amplifier's aux in. In that case take care that the "output level" of the mixer works like master volume controlfor the signal that the mixer sends to the amplifier.
In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

I have the same Kaoss Pad mini and have exactly the same problem. I have asked for a solution as well!
The only way I have been able to use live is to turn up master on mixer to compensate, but this is incredibly hard to do if you're not always going through the KP as you have to adjust master volume each time up or down.
I haven't heard any volume problems with the full size Kaoss Pads, think it might just be a KP mini problem.
You have to hook up the SL1 Box or the 57SL mixer and then install the drivers. If you are not hooked up to either of these it will say 'Interface Disconnected' or 'Soundcard Not Found'.
in sound system you have different sound level start with phono level up to line level up to speaker level.-you will switch to phono when you connect phonograph and you will switch to line when you connect another audio source like dvd and video sound.
